At Tritrone Brass and Woodwind we are dedicated to excellence in repair and restoration of brass and woodwind instruments.

Dirk is a Professional Musician and a qualified instrument repairer. He is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, The Sweelinck Conservatorium Amsterdam and the Australian National University. He is a regular working musician.

By being a member of NAPBIRT this gives us access to leading innovations in instrument repair as well as the highest quality supplies and materials. We attend the annual repair conference in the USA.

We have tried to address a broader spectrum of services by including mouthpiece refacing, parts fabrication and in future, custom engraving. We have also invested in new technologies such as ultrasonic cleaning and magnetic dent removal which allows us to present more efficient as well as environmentally cleaner solutions.
